Described as “inviting” and “pretty wine”, this wine is composed with “high-toned violet and ripe raspberry notes that are both fresh and ripe on the palate.” Mixed with Grenache and Syrah, this vintage “Delivers dusty mineral, singed mesquite and invigorating white pepper accents that add good savory dimension throughout the elegant finish.” Drink now through 2026.  

The 2020 Gigondas Domaine Grand Romane obtained a 92 rating by Wine Spectator! Mixed with Grenache, Mourvèdre and Syrah, this red “boasts bitter cherry, crushed raspberry and red tea flavors that are bold, open and inviting.” “Tightly coiled and wound on the palate by a firming cage of tannins, this gains savory depth from black pepper and charred mesquite,” explains the critic. Drink now through 2028.
