Founded in 1964 in Reims by an alliance of visionary winegrowers, Champagne Jacquart was born from a desire to control the destiny of their harvest and craft exceptional wines. Headquartered at the historic Hôtel de Brimont, the House draws from a mosaic of terroirs across Champagne’s finest crus. Its contemporary style, driven by a high proportion of Chardonnay, is defined by freshness, precision, and extended cellar aging. Today, Jacquart embodies a collective savoir-faire dedicated to high gastronomy and modern champagne expression.
Vineyard
Sourced exclusively from the prestigious terroir of Chouilly, a classified Grand Cru village at the northern tip of the Côte des Blancs, this 100% Chardonnay draws its tension from the region’s iconic pure chalk subsoils. The vines benefit from an ideal exposure that allows the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness while preserving a vibrant, crystalline acidity. This unique harmony between chalk-rich soils and microclimate gives the cuvée its distinct mineral drive, delicate salinity, and finely chiseled structure.
Winemaking
- Alcoholic fermentation in temperature controlled tanks
- Partial malolactic fermentation
- Maturation : 4 years on the lees in bottle minimum
- Bottle time in the cellar after dosage : at least 6 months after disgorging
