history
Château Bellevue Malartic comes from the estate of the same name, a confidential 8-hectare property with an exceptional terroir. Let yourself be carried away by this cuvée, which reveals the very best the region has to offer.
Vineyard
Representing a confidential 8-hectare estate, Château Bellevue Malartic is situated on privileged hillside plots combining gravel and limestone soils. The 40-year-old vines are planted according to terroir suitability: Merlot thrives on gravel ridges, while Cabernet Sauvignon takes root in limestone. Naturally controlled yields of 40 hl/ha provide excellent balance and ripeness, lending the cuvée its supple roundness, refined tannic backbone, and expressive fruit.
Winemaking
Harvesting takes place at night or early in the morning, followed by transfer into stainless steel tanks for a pre-fermentation maceration. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel vats, then the wine is aged for 12 months: 50% in tun, 50% in concrete vat.
