The Larochette family is winegrowers from father to son for generations. The domain stretches over 10.70 hectares of vines, located in the southern Burgundy on the slopes of Chaintré.The domain has received the approval for a high environnemental value . Fabrice Larochette strives to find the balance between tradition and modernity in his wine-making. According to him, the expression of terroir makes the highest quality wines. As the terroir makes the highest quality wines, he made the search of this terroir expression his daily focus.
Vineyard
The Mâconnais runs from Tournus in Macon for about fifty kilometers from North to South, bordered by the peaceful course of the Saône.
The vineyards lie on the rocks of Solutré and Vergisson at an altitude of 400 meters.
These plots are all facing North West and have a clayey sandy soil.
It's an elegant terroir to produce dense and concentrated Chardonnay.
Vines : 32 years old - 76 Ares - Yield : 40 hl/ha
Winemaking
Pneumatic pressing is employed, followed by aging in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled during the spring season.
Tasting notes
A delightful bouquet, featuring notes of minerality and white-fleshed fruits. The palate is rounded and well-balanced, showcasing excellent harmony in the aroma.

This wine is suitable for any time of the day and pairs wonderfully with appetizers, cold cuts, oysters, and local goat cheeses.

Tightly-wound aromas of late-harvest golden apple, bosc pear skin and baby's breath open on the nose. The palate is concentrated with shattered-stone-dusted green fruit filling out the finish. Give this wine 30 minutes to open in your glass to experience it at its best.
